GTs Crush Birds on the Surface in the Seychelles

We’ve long awaited the release of this video from the Blue Planet II series from the BBC. Narrated by the omnipresent David Attenborough, this short clip documents the miracle of an isolated case in the Seychelles, where giant trevallies have developed a taste for arctic terns. We’d long suspected this was possible, after this video from Fish the Swing emerged, showing the capture of a nice GT on a fly fashioned from an old flip flop, with some tern feathers glued on.

This was filmed with huge help from the Alphonse Fishing Co., who were the first to recognize and document the phenomenon.
