February 27: Fly Fishing Film Tour Hits NYC

The Fly Fishing Film Tour is one of the greatest events on the face of Earth. Once a year, we all get to stand together in a room, drink free beer, and talk to other people who share the love of fly fishing. This year’s NYC show is on February 27 at the SVA Beatrice Theater on W 23rd Street, between 8th and 9th. Buy a ticket and join us there!

The original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather at premieres to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends and dream about casts still unmade.

2017 marks The F3T’s 11th lap around North America and this year’s lineup of films is without question the best the Tour has ever presented. From Bolivia to the Mongolia, Russia to the South Pacific, Florida, Montana, and Mexico – even a little East Coast striper mania from our buddy Jamie Howard – the notable characters, unique storylines and unparalleled fishing in these films will lead you on an adventure around the globe!

In addition to showcasing world-class fly fishing films, The F3T is dedicated to supporting the local fly shops and conservation groups that form the backbone of our sport’s educational and environmental efforts. In 2016, the F3T raised over $300,000 for conservation partners and has brought greater attention and support to groups like Trout Unlimited, Wild Steelhead Coalition, Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Utah Stream Access Coalition, Stop Pebble Mine and many more.

Buy tickets online here, or pay $45 at the door on Feb. 27. Check out the F3T’s website for more info and trailers.
